Dedicated to the memory of Bob

Our beloved Husband, Dad, Grandad and Brother Bob, sadly passed away on the 1st of November in Hospital. We have set this page up as a tribute to his life. From being born in Northern Ireland and coming over to the UK when he was 9 years old. He left school and took on a building apprenticeship which was the trade he continued until his retirement. Marrying his lovely wife Enid of 60 years at the age of 22. Going on to having 2 boys, Tony and Paul. And years later lots of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Bob had a love for animals of all kinds. As well as Power Boat Racing. Being a dedicated member of the LOBMBC, Lowestoft and Oulton Broad Motor Boat Club from 1978 - 1988. Up until a month before he passed he still came down to support the club.

Later on in life Bob was diagnosed with Diabetes, which in September 2010 resulted in him having to attend the James Paget Renal Unit 3 times a week. Having spent a lot of time here over the past 11 years we know that Bob and his family were very grateful to all the staff who cared for him. Which is why we have chosen the Renal unit for donations, no matter how big or small.

He will be forever loved and sadly missed by all his family and friends.

And his fighting spirit will live on through us all.
